What is the average weight a baby should be at 36 weeks?

I went to my Gyno yesterday and he said that my baby is quite small... His head diameter is 8.5cms and he weighs about 2.4kg... I am 36 weeks... I asked him if this means I will go past due and he said no but does this mean the baby is at risk or unhealthy? Will he need to go into a humidity crib? Also, what is the average weight a baby should be at 36 weeks? And the average head diameter?
Thanks so much for reading.

Answer: Hi Sherrie, From what you have told me this sounds quite normal. Your baby will not be big but it should be at least 3kg or more which is fine. Best wishes, Alex
