:( My poor baby Rss

I always read on here but dont post much.
We had a test for our baby today to check his kidneys it took 50 mins of poking him with needles and 2 doctors to insert an iv line! He was such a brave wee soldier for the first 30mins but lost it totally after that, i felt like a horrible mean mean mummy.
No point to this post really just feeling sorry for him. He's got bruises and it looks terrible sad

Awwww I hope baby gets better soon smile
I know how you feel as DS went through a similar experience at 3 months. It was horrible for me to just stand there and watch as they did what seemed liked a million tests. I felt useless that I couldn't take away his pain. Be strong for your LO hun and stay positive smile

How is your little soldier doing?

Aww sad sorry it didnt go smoothly for your bub! It can be so exhausting for them going through all that medical stuff! Did he have his followup after the scan? Feel free to keep Pming me if you'd like smile
Poor little boy. I know how you're feeling. I was a complete mess when my dd was admitted into hospital at 2 months. They had to take blood from her & also insert an IV drip. The only positive outcome from all this is that they will not remember their experience, but unfortunately it leaves us scarred for a little while.
I hope you're both back to normal very soon!

oh poor lil fella hope he feels better soon im sure he's recieving lots of mummy cuddles to make it all better smile

It's so heartbreaking isnt it, he's 6 months old today so we're celebrating. He woke up his normal smiley self thank goodness. Thanks for listening. No he didnt get his followup appt when the scan had finished asked do we get to see someone and the answer i got was no so asked what happens now and she said they send the report to our gp and the paeds dept at the hosp but shes unsure if paeds will even contact us so just to ring my gp in a few days for them to read reults to me! I felt so deflated afterwards - after going through all that and then not getting a specialist to talk to.
