wondering if any one else has pet hates ???

I'm an IT tech and usually when friends or family have a computer quiry they will ask me what to do. I really hate it when I give them a set of instructions and then they don't follow it and usually make a bad situation worse. I know computer stuff can be hard at times but I hate it when people willy nilly stuff around with their machines not knowing what the hell their doing. The painfull thing is that this usually results in me having to go and fix it.

Late night/early morning television.... Us mums are up through the wee hours and I am sick to death of watching infomercials! I don't want Proactive, I don't want to buy your latest fad in exercise equipment and you can stick your free steak knives where the sun don't shine! Put on something educational or at least half interesting......oh and I am a makeup artist, I also hate it when not close friends ring me and say can you do my makeup and then don't bother to pay me cause we "know" each other....I also hate all the freakin texts/emails I get from the same person saying can I come visit the baby this afternoon? Always at 5:30 right on baby bath time.....I don't even really know you so - HOW ABOUT NO! Enough is enough!

When you ring an organisation you hear those annoying words Press 1 - supposed to make the calls easier.

For who?

You spend 10 minutes going around in circles pressing stupid numbers then find yourself talking to a human in the wrong area, through no fault of your own. So they have to transfer your call & in the process they cut you off instead!!!

when people wear sun glasses indoors... it ANNOYS ME sooo much... maybe its all the hormones lol

When you call an organisation and you can't get to speak to a real person, they only have automated especially LARA on Vodafone, OMG she is the most annoying thing ever!! angry angry

LOL I do this!! Only because I wear prescription sunnies, it's too hard to dig my clear glasses out of my bag if I'm only going to be a few minutes.

I HATE when you drive past a car and there are kids jumping around in the backseat with no seatbelt, or hanging out the windows, and the parents are oblivious....or sucking on a durry to boot GRRRRRRRRRR.

I also hate reverse parallel parking....where I live there ispretty much ONLY parallel parking, I have been known to drive around the block many many times so I can get a spot I can drive straight into. I can reverse park no worries and actually prefer to reverse in but reverse parralel?? Forget it lol.

Thankfully not an issue at the moment, since I am on leave with DD. But when working we call patients a day before their operation and reconfirm information including that they cannot have any food or fluids a certain time before an operation. Yet when they come in we always get 4 or 5 patients that say "no I haven't had anything to eat or drink except water!!!" <img src='https://www.huggies.com.au/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' /> grrrr then I have to phone theatre alter operation times which means angry patients, as we often don't have patients in in time so operations are delayed. WATER IS A FLUID!!!!! Ahhh that feels better to get that out !!!!!
Another one is people parking in the mother and baby parking yet no child seat in back seat so no baby. This means I have to park my car in sun and it is boiling by time we have finished shopping, fine for me, but not DD

I hate having to swerve around kids playing in the street. I mean why can't they move out of the way? And the parents who sit in their driveway and just watch as their kids could potentially get hit by a car.

I used to play in the street as a kid but at least we moved off the road if a car was coming..

Ringing Bigpond tech support and getting the automated service trying to help me solve my problem, the computer says 'say continue when you are ready to go to the next step' so for the next 5 minutes I am screaming continue into the phone and the damn thing isnt listening to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually Telstra in general sucks dead......well you know how that goes!!
