Ideas for holiday destination in Vic Rss

Every year at Easter time we travel somewhere in our home state of Vic. We prefer this so we can take our own car, have our car seats, and take all the kids stuff you need! In previous years we have gone to Phillip Island, Mornington, Dromana, Leongatha, and Ocean Grove (although this last one was cause it was free at my sister's house!!).

I'm stuck for ideas this year. Want somewhere that has plenty of kids and family activities to do, such as touristy stuff, happy to do day trips while away too. Any suggestions?
My home town is great for touristy stuff and has great activities for the kids to. Where in the country up on the Murry River. Here's a link of information. http://echucamoama.com/
I was going to say lakes entrance as well. Or bright, anglesea, lorne, echuca, inverloch, wangaratta, beechworth...
Ha ha Kitty, that is so funny .... cause we live in Ballarat!!!
Yeah come to lakes entrance. I'm lucky I live here. But it seems a popular place for a holiday.

I always love Halls Gap - so pretty!
wow echucamoama is really pretty, i go wego australia to look for some new travelling ideas and places to stay. But Murray looks like a really awesome place!
you could try warrnambool, plenty to do there, including the big adventure playground at lake pertobe, and it's only a couple of hours drive to port campbell and what's left of the 12 apostles and all the other spectacular lookouts. there is also an old volcano called tower hill which is between warrnambool and port fairy
