Braxton hicks Rss

So this morning when i woke i had cramping that would not go away, after half an hour me and partner met with midwife at maternity ward to get checked out.
Cramps eased half way through the consultation.
She tells me it was just a braxton hicks contraction.

Im quite suprised because most of mine i barley notice.
Has anyone else had random ones that last quite long or vary in intensity?

This one was quite painful, in a period cramp achy way.

hi there i am 36 weeks pregnant now and for the last few weeks i have had pretty much constant braxton hicks contractions. my belly spends more time rock hard than it is soft. im pretty lucky thou as they arnt sore just uncomftorble. ive been told by my midwife this is fairly normal.
with my first baby she was 7 weeks early so i never made it to this stage and are just assuming what im feeling is normal.
hopefully your braxton hicks are easing off.
OMG i am in the same boat the pian is so bad sometimes i almost feel like crying. LOL mid wife told me the same some times it can be really painfull for some. I am 32 weeks and wanting the whole thing over with right now. Hopefully tgings settle for you.

Good luck
Can i ask a stupid question?

When do you start having braxton hicks contractions??

Does all women have it differently through out their pregnancy or is there a certain time you'll have them?
my bh are very tight and are getting alot stronger... ive been having them for most of this pregnancy but now at 34 weeks they stop me from walking. But they are not true contractions... i think all women are different and some dont even get them. huh
hi im so the same at the moment, im coming up 33 wks and have been getting quite strong BH my tummy feels rock hard and have a constant dull ache in my lower back and they also feel period crampy aswell! i never really felt any or noticed them with my 1st but can be really sore at times.
collbree am so with you im ready for this to be over too!
anyone finding some of bubs kicks sore? i actually say ow sometimes when she shoves her feet or elbows or knees out blink have to give her a lil shove to make her move them back in!
I'm exactly the same. I'm nearly 34 weeks and for the past 2 weeks or so they can be quite intense and up to 20 times a day.. Sometimes they hurt, depends on my position but mostly uncomfortable with added displeasure of lower back pain and sometimes sharp aches below my tummy..! Had had enough of it all and finished up work early today so I can rest up and enjoy the last 6 weeks of being pregnant, although with Xmas so close and school hold with the step kids not sure how much relaxation I will get lol

yip i am 33 weeks tomorrow and getting strong ones too sad spend alot of time on my feet as still working, can be quite a pain! mine are alot like period cramps, mostly in my lower back but the pain sort of wraps around the front? Lots of tightening and feel a bit of pressure in my pelvis too but my boy likes to sit quite low down. Some of his kicks/movements are def starting to get a little sore, I wasn't very big to start with and am all belly now so he doesn't have alot of room left lol. Unfortunately when i push his feet and elbows back in he pushes back haha.
Hey ladies, Braxton hicks can be so frustrating sometimes. Over the past week i have had nights where my stomach gets that tight that it hurts, the tightenings and period like cramping will come and go for a couple hours getting stronger each time but then will just stop. Im 36weeks with my 4th child and all 3 have either been on time or over never early. But at the rate these are going i'm kind of thinking bubs is going to come early. I am 2/5 engaged so we will see. I find with bh if they get too sore i'll have the 1 panadol which works sometimes.
Hello im 30 weeks and ive been having bh since 20 weeks and now its so sore i cry at times (softy i know).
Just a lttle bit longer and its gone yaaah <3

ABSOLUTELY im 35 weeks today and have the same constant back ache, period pains and really strong bh. Also feel the pain from bubbas kicks!
I had an assessment with my midwife last week and was sent to hospital to be double checked as the midwife thought my bh were full blown contractions!
