Whose partner 'looked' Rss

So I am wondering whose partner 'looked' down there as your baby was being born?
Did this make u feel uncomfortable? Did you discuss this before hand? Were you ok with your partner looking at that very moment?

Mine did! He didn't really have a choice as with our first I had one foot pushing on his upper arm and my other foot on the ob.s upper arm (me lying on my back with my feet up on them) so unless he closed his eyes it was kinda hard not to see!

Second was a caesar so no and third was a homebirth (unplanned) and he was standing at the foot of our bed discussing what to do with the ambos. So he saw some but as it started happening he came up next to me on the bed.

Nope! Didn't ever really think about it, so we didn't discuss it prior. Doesn't bother me at all.

Yes of course.I didnt care who looked lol i was pre occupied.
My DH is not very good with needles, blood, etc - as in last time he had to give blood he fainted! So yes we discussed it beforehand and I'd told him "don't look down there"!!
I didn't want anyone to look prior to labour and imagine myself in a nightie and with a sheet covering down there. WELL...I ended up giving birth naked, DF, my mum and of course the midwife saw it all and I couldn't have given 2 hoots. Honestly there could've been 50 people there for all I cared laugh

DS - Nov 2008 & DD - Feb 2012

Mine did. We never spoke about it before hand but once in the delivery room my midwife also asked DH if he wanted to help deliver bubs. He felt so proud to have been fortunate enough to do this. He literally held and guided baby our.

my partner had a quick peek during the caesarean. apparently I looked like an "expensive steak" tongue
yes he had a quick look then moved away he thiks it is the wors thing he has ever seen laugh laugh
After over 4hrs of pushing I was a little delirious so DP was looking into my eyes and getting me to focus and mum was holding one of my legs (another midwife had the other) but when the Dr announced the head was out, DP leaned across me, had a look and said "Holy crap, there's a lot of hair!" Now DD was born with a headfull of thick, black hair so I'm assuming he was talking about her and not the 70's style afro bush I was sporting!!! Lmao!!!!

Incidentally another midwife asked if I'd like a mirror to see? I vaguely recall saying if I had to look I would probably throw up! Here's hoping I'm a little more composed for the next birth!

Your mind is a garden, your thoughts are the seeds,
You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.

Looked and laughed. He told me later it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen.

With the second he was supporting one leg as the MW was supporting the other so he had a fantastic view of everything.
Yes mine did and we hadn't discussed it earlier. When it came to pushing he just went 'down' there and watched our baby come out, it didn't bother me or him otherwise he wouldn't have looked. I think he wanted to look to see what all the fuss was about laugh and oh yeah to see his baby being born.

Mine did both times and so did I. I loved having the mirror there to focus on the prize I loved every minute of watching my lil men be born
