Forceful let down affecting sleep. Help! Rss

Hi,
I’m wondering if anyone has had issues with their overactive/forceful let down creating issues with their baby’s sleep? If so, how to you manage it?

My DD coughs, gags and gulps whilst BFing. She normally will have a big belch after being fed but not all the time.
She is quite the spewy baby. At night after a feed I hold her up for half an hour.

When I put her down in the bassinet, half an hour later she will squirm in her sleep, spit up and then cry. Then repeat, repeat!

Any suggestions???
Hello,

I am no expert but my MIL is a lactation consultant and said you can try changing positions? Have you tried La Leche or the KellyMom website?
