Answer: Hi, Keeping a journal of your cycle will help you to become more aware of your menstrual cycle and give you an idea of when you ovulate. But you do seem to have more of an irregular cycle with month to month variation. This is common but just means that there is probably variability between each month when you ovulate. And if you're trying to conceive then you'd benefit from looking for other signs of ovulation rather than timing from your last period. Both of these go into some detail about mucous and temperature changes and timing intercourse to coincide with ovulation and to boost fertility. Best Jane
