any advice on virginal birth after a ceaserean..due in 10 wks and am confused as to whether i go naturally or c-section.. thankyou
Answer: Hi, It is always advisable to try for a natural birth. You need to find out the reason for yur first caesarean to determine if there was a problem with your pelvis. Otherwise there should be no reason not to try for a natural birth. You will recover much faster and the baby is much more prepared for life after labour. If you have had a previous caesarean you need to try to go into natural labour and not be induced as this puts pressure on the scar and can increase complications. Best wishes, Alex.
