Normal birth vs C-section following 3rd degree tear and multiple prolapses?

Hi, I gave birth 8 months ago and now have a large rectocele, cystocele and rectal prolapse following a forceps birth & 3rd degree tear/episiotomy. The physio has said that a c-section would probably be recommended for future pregnancies. However I am scared of further complications from the c-section - is a normal birth likely to make things worse?

Answer: Hi, More than likely a vaginal birth will not make anything worse. You will need to talk to your doctor about the scarring that has formed and discuss your concerns about both options. Best wishes, Alex.
