Is there anything i can do to help my body prepare for childbirth?
Im 35 weeks and was wondering if there is anything i can do to help prepare my body for birth. I have a 2 year old and his birth took a terrible toll on my body. Some stretching excersises or anything that might help would be very greatly appreciated.
Regular exercise is a very good preparation for birth. If you are feeling heavy later in pregnancy swimming is also great for relaxation and exercise. Usually your second birth is much better than your first and the labour is much more straight forward. The pushing stage is much faster as everything has been stretched before.
